Color-coded icons in the appointment dashboard show whether a patient is pre-approved, a current cardholder, or a good candidate to apply.
Enable pre-visit quick screening
Two days before an appointment, Promptly runs automated batch quick screens to help staff identify patients who may benefit from CareCredit—so your team can be proactive, not reactive.
Get real-time approval status
Instantly view whether a patient is approved, pre-approved, or declined, all within the Promptly Practice Panel.
Give patients multiple ways to apply
Patients can apply through the Patient WebApp, Kiosk, or via Canned Messages—no extra portals or confusing redirects.
Access full application details
Staff can quickly link to full application results and credit decisions through Promptly, with direct access to the CareCredit site.
Track payments seamlessly
Transactions completed through CareCredit are automatically posted to the Promptly Transaction Report and other financial tools, ensuring integrated visibility across your workflow.

Green icon: Pre-approved
Patient is pre-approved and eligible to apply for the CareCredit credit card—credit amount is visible in the dashboard.
Orange icon: Invite the patient to apply for CareCredit
Patient hasn’t yet been approved and can complete their application directly within Promptly.
Navy icon: Card holder
Patient already has a CareCredit credit card, and available credit will display (note: this is not the balance due).
Inside the patient dashboard
Approved CareCredit cardholders can view their available credit from the Promptly home screen. When it’s time to pay, they simply choose CareCredit as their payment method—just like any other card.
